Just a word of warning from a true believer. It's a good thing my Hotmail addy is just for all the spam, and nothing important is stored there. I'm really hoping this guy tried to send something from my hotmail account, as it will give more tracking data for me. I'll probably have to come up with another bogus password tomorrow until the real Hotmail admins can contact me and verify who I am, so I can take my account back on Hotmail, and lock this creep out once and for all.ĭoes anyone know how to track this guy/gal? "WTF!?!?!?", so I'm getting that sinking feeling about now, but fortunately, I had entered several email addy's into ICQ and I was able to retrieve the password through another email account, and get my ICQ back, for at least today. Simultaneously, ICQ starts requesting my password. but today when I decided to check my hotmail, low and behold, it's also had it's password changed! "Good Grief!!", I tell myself.
my tech support lines got too busy afterwards to figure out what happened, and I ended up leaving 2 hours after hours. Late on Friday I checked my hotmail account before I left work and there was an email from the Hotmail admins, so I opened it, and it crashed the browser window. I have a very low ICQ number, in the 100k range, and some little terd apparently had figured out a way to get it. "My low ICQ number got stolen.", I sneered, even thought these types of things were hoaxes.
